Stephenie Joan Mitchell aka Stevie is a sixth-year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Appearance[]
5' 10" (177.8cm), 143lbs., nearly black, shoulder length, thick and wavy hair, grey/blue eyes, pale complexion heavy eyebrows and full lips. Known for having a "resting bitch face" and "Bette Davis eyes".
Personality[]
She comes off as cold, and she often can be, but once her tough exterior is cracked, she's got a dark sense of humor and a heart of tarnished gold. She's more loyal than most Hufflepuffs, but saves that loyalty for people who really deserve it. Honesty is huge to her; she doesn't trust easily, her trust is easily lost, and it is impossible to regain it once it is lost. She holds her sister, and her sister's opinion above all else and she is clumsy as all get out, not the best with social cues and hates small talk.
Background[]
Born to a drug addict mother with a rockstar complex, Stevie (named for Stevie Nicks and Joan Jett) spent the first seven years of her life bouncing between shelters, halfway houses and homeless camps in urban Seattle, WA.
On her seventh birthday, Stevie displayed her first sign of magic, accidentally warming the tent which her mother and her had been living in with a small blue flame. Unbeknownst to her, it was the discovery of magic in her first daughter, Brody, that caused Sabine to abandon her- citing the devils work. High at the time of the flames appearance, Sabine went insane with fear, attacking her daughter, in plain sight of police officers. Upon her mothers arrest, Stevie was taken by the state, and immediately entered into the foster system, where she spent less than six months of her life.
Her much older half-sister, who had been recently orphaned herself- dropped out of her seventh year at Hogwarts to take care of Stevie full-time. From then on Stevie and Brody have shared a single bedroom flat in the East London borough of Central Hackney.
